Award Winners Recognized at Gala in Orangeville
Dufferin County, ON: On November 15th, 2017, the Dufferin Women in Business celebrated the winners of the 2017 Sparkle Awards at the 15th Anniversary Gala & Sparkle Awards. Influential business women from across the county gathered for the awards gala at the Best Western Plus Orangeville Inn & Suites to celebrate the Sparkle in Dufferin County. A total of four awards were presented.
The Dufferin Women in Business are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2017 Sparkle Awards:
Volunteer of the Year……………………Brenda Seltzer
Networker of the Year…………………..Roberta Fracassi
Mentor of the Year.……………………..Jennie Bradley
2017 Woman of Influence………………Tammy Schneider
The Sparkle Award nominations opened in early October and the recipients were selected through a balloted voting process that took place at the Gala. Nominees provided a short bio and photo speaking to their accomplishments. The bios were posted online in preparation of the vote at the Gala.
The evening provided an opportunity to celebrate influential women and business leaders in Dufferin County who are high-achievers. The Sparkle Awards mark the Dufferin Women in Business’s premier networking event of the year.
“Tonight was a celebration of the contributions of so many influential and inspiring women in Dufferin’s vibrant and prosperous business community. This evening we celebrated their accomplishments and recognized the important role that women have within the Dufferin business community. The Gala began with a meet-and-greet networking reception with music provided by guitarist, Ryan Avery. The evening then moved into the Hills of Headwaters Ballroom for the awards ceremony. Following dinner, prepared by Gourmandissimo Catering and Fine Food, guests were entertained by local vocalist, Maddy Morrison. The evening concluded with the presentation of the awards.
